Well it's here–the time of year when almost all gatherings are centered around food and drink.  Those of us who are diabetic must have a plan of action that will enhance our enjoyment of the Season and not penalize us for our health and dietary requirements.

5.  When eating out, use the procedures you have already found to be successful. Ask for salad dressing on the side. Select entrees that fit your dietary plan.

6.  Enjoy yourself. If you slip, forgive yourself and get right back on the wagon.

7.  Remember it is easier to lose one pound than five; five than ten, and so forth. Monitor your weight regularly so the pounds don't creep up on you.
