As we move into the last quarter of the year, what are your plans.  If you are like me it doesn’t seem real that this year is passing so quickly.  It will soon be time to think about holiday giving.  But before that we have  Halloween which I think of as a holiday for children (or those of us who are still kids at heart); then Thanksgiving followed by what I call the HOLIDAY SEASON.

Thus we are approaching a very busy time of the year.  We need to maintain our focus on the priorities we have established.  Whether that is weight loss (weight maintenance), continuing an exercise program, maintaining a healthy eating lifestyle, etc.  What ever your goals are it is time to review them and see how close to your targets you are.  If necessary revise and update them.  The only way to fail is to do nothing.  You are a winner if you are active and in charge—not waiting for time or fate to get you where you want to go. I took a few moments today to update my business goals and found it very helpful.  That has motivated me to do the same with my personal goals.  I am not where I want to be, but I am not where I was..  I am very pleased to be able to say that.  I hope your review yields you an equally positive result.

As you review if you find areas where you are consistently falling short that may be an indicator that this target needs to be revised. Take an objective look.  Compliment yourself on your successes.  Use the areas where you fall short as indicators of a need for revisions in the plan.  Either way you are a SUCCESS because you are actively doing something.  Leave me a comment about your successes and ways you are finding to meet your challenges.
