Are you ready?  Spring is nigh and Summer is around the corner.  Are you on target to achieve the new improved, healthier and happier you for 2016?  Is your plan of action working for you, or do you not have a plan?

Many of you will have made New Year’s resolutions related to body image.  Also, many will have fallen away from their plans of action.  If you are among that group this is an excellent time to restart your motor.  Consider assigning yourself a task that you will commit to for 40 days.  You can use the Lenten period as a frame of reference [February 10 through Easter] or set any start\end date that works better from you.  I suggest you select a task that you can easily stick with; one that will add to your overall healthiness; and, one that will bring you enjoyment.  Examples:
exercise 15 minutes five times per week;
walk two blocks five days week;
omit desserts five days a week, etc.
Select a task that is easy for you to do and stick with.

February 10 is Ash Wednesday and many believers make a special effort to take on a commitment during this period of time to honor the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.  Whether or not you are a believer this is an excellent time to review your plans and or make new ones.  I believe that each of us wants to look good; feel good; and, more often than not to do good.  (I have found that when I extend kindnesses to others I reap many benefits which include feeling better about myself and happier.)

So rev up and activate your plan.
