Summer will soon have come and gone. (How time flies.)  It’s time to take a look at your progress toward achieving the goals and targets you set for yourself.  Can you wear that size smaller swimsuit.  Did you lose 5 pounds or more? Are you sticking to your exercise routine?  If yes, great, CONGRATULATIONS!  If not, why not?

It’s time to evaluate the breakdowns in your plan; regroup; revise; restart. As you make this evaluation, be kind to yourself.  Acknowledge your successes, no matter how small they seem.  Use them as a building block.  What enabled you to achieve that step? Incorporate that motivator into your revised plan of action.  If you attained each target set, review and upgrade.  Set a new target moving you farther along the continuum to the ideal you. Failures provide opportunity for growth; successes provide opportunity to review, revise and upgrade goals. One goal that should be consistent for each of us is ‘a healthy me’.  Therefore keep this target in mind when reviewing and revising your plans.  In addition, a healthy you is a happy you.  Do not put unnecessary stress on yourself.  In this journey of life, the race is won by the persistent, not necessarily the quick.
